This painting is somehow a milestone in my career as a digital painter. I started with the basic concept in 2008. After realizing very quickly I just have to put this monster a side and learn to draw much better than I did at this time. It took more than six years to finish it. Somehow it was a constant learning process. Every time I achieved a certain level of technique my ambitions became bigger. The final size is 145x250 cm.
the idea of these illustrations came when I was searching bigger models to draw.
in the beginning I was not sure if I really can use porn pix and exhibit them but when I started to draw them it became pretty fast clear that they are somehow a rare breed. I showed them in two different locations in Italy and as everyone can imagine I had to use all my verbal skills to exhibit them. Why they are so pixelated? I was experimenting in this time with printing very small images in high resolution to show that pixels when they are on the right spot can be beautiful.
